I had a cheaper and smaller fridge made by this company that didn’t quite meet my expectations. I had issues with temperature regulation on the smaller one. I decided to give it one more shot with this bigger 56qt one. It is a true dual-zone fridge/freezer. The right side is the freezer and the left side is the fridge. The temperature probe is much more accurate and responsive. Putting a bottle of warm water in the fridge immediately increases the temperature on the display and starts the compressor.
The display on this one dims down when you’ve not touched the buttons. This is great if it’s near a sleeping area.
If you’re thinking about one of these chest-fridges for an RV or any permanent installation where food safety is important, don’t get the cheaper versions, it’s not worth the stress of hoping your food is still okay. This is the one you want. A bit more expensive but there’s usually coupons.
If I have any issues I will update this but so far it’s great.
