This product works great! The form factor is just like a standard ice chest but keeps the contents cool without needing ice. I have used it near daily in my work vehicle for the last month and it does an amazing job of keeping up with the heat. Plugged into a 12v dc power point it can run all day without draining the car battery - the unit comes with both 12vdc and 110v ac adapters in the box. The compressor is very quiet and you do not notice the sound while sitting next to it. Inside the cooler has a shallow section and a deeper end which fits water bottles and energy drinks perfectly. I wish this was available years ago and would purchase this again. Used this on a recent road trip. Outside temperature was 114 deg F. This cooler kept up with the heat and the contents stayed really cold.
I am a travel nurse and sometimes I have to drive for days to get to my next assignment. I would either have to throw food away or stick it in an ice cooler and then everything is wet. I also love to tent camp. This is the perfect thing for both of those scenarios. Nothing gets wet. Everything stays cold. It comes with a car charger and my car has an outlet at the very back so it can sit right at the hatch for me to get a cold soda on the road. It's small enough to not take up a ton of space but big enough to put plenty of groceries.
It works as it should, plugged it in (after 48 hrs wait in upright position) and tested with room temp bottle of water, the water was frozen 4 hours later!
Tip for bad review people
Read the instructions, and foremost do not turn the power on right after you take it out of the box! It is a fridge after all, and everyone "should" know you can't turn the fridge on after is been tipped over! The oil and freon in the compressor will mix and the apliance will never work again.
As for durability...to be tested yet, taking the cooler to the mountains and will see.
Nov.1st update.... after trips to the mountains and lakes the cooler performance was perfect, kept the food cold and the fish frozen, best feature is the low battery amp shutoff, after running for hours on car battery ( car not running) cooler shut it self off so the car wouldn't be stranded, started the car 9 hours later w/o problem

It work so great. Freezes/cools in minutes, when I unplug the fridge after few hours, it stays very froze/cooled for a long time eg next day. I'm so enjoying chilled drinks and foods on the go as a camper.

This fridge works great for road trips and saves you money in the long run. It cools fast, stays cool for awhile even if unplugged, doesn’t drain car battery and is super quiet , sometimes i would have to check to make sure it was on because i couldn’t hear anything. Quality build
