Customer Reviews
Noise level - couldn't get any quieter than this. If the noise level on your unit is louder than a whisper then have it replaced. This is a very quiet unit.
Size/Dimension - I got the 37 quart which is the smallest they have in this model and it works perfect for me. Product dimension they have on the pictures are accurate so its easy to decide which one to get. It would really depend on if you want to store more in the cooler or how much actual space you have for the cooler in the car.
Temperature - cools really fast and the ECO mode works really well. I only need about 15mins or less to get this from room temp to 30 degrees. It holds the temperature really well too especially if you already put chilled/frozen food on the cooler beforehand.
Energy Consumptions - I have used this with my Jackery 500 for a 2 night camping trip no issue. It took me at least a day and half to get the Jackery down to 50% with this plugged in at all times on ECO mode. I think that is the main thing, is to always keep it on ECO mode. The compressor doesn't kick in until 5-6 degrees higher than the set temp and even with that the compressor really just runs for 5mins or less to get it to the set temperature and pulls a constant 30 watts on the Jackery. Very energy efficient but wouldn't hurt to have a way to recharge your power stations just in case.
I do have one con which isn't a deal breaker and that is that even though it comes with a divider so you can have a freezer/refrigerator combo, I wish the refrigeration side was the larger side. Also, when the divider is on for the combo mode, you cannot change the temperature on the refrigeration side. Temperature can only be regulated for the freezer side.
All in all, I am very happy with this product so far and the price point is just amazing for what it does. Hopefully it lasts a very long time.
Except for the compressor, it was great. Its high-pitched noise resembles tinnitus. I returned it because it hurt. Older or hearing-impaired people may not care. Friends heard the noise. One couldn't hear it and the other hated it too. The merchant said that the noise was usual. Excellent customer service and refunds. I'm writing this review to help you find a cooler that solves your problem. Despite the noise, it worked.
I've been using the AC adapter to power this fridge for two months with no problems. The Bluetooth app is very useful and does what it's supposed to do.
I I ran it for 48 hours, and the generator still had 40% of its power left.
The low price and the fact that I can use it in my truck on 12v while I'm on the road and then plug it into 110v when I get there are great. Used for a five-day trip and it worked great... I'm still trying to figure out what temperature will work best for me. It vibrates, and if you put it on a hard surface, it can be quite loud... As other people have said, setting the temperature is not very accurate... But by playing with it, I was able to make it work for me.
I liked how quiet the unit was. It worked well on my trip, where I needed to bring things that needed to be kept cold. It worked well. Because the food was already frozen and I put it on zero, everything stayed frozen even when I turned off the unit.
This has been great in my camper van for the past 1.5 years. Size/volume has never been a problem. Simple to drain and clean. It's amazing that if you set it low enough, it can turn into a freezer. I have nothing bad to say. I like it.
Poorly made product. After 2 months of everyday use, the metal springs in the plastic latch piece that closes the fridge/freezer door snapped off. Fridge efficiency plummeted. This fridge was for my cross-country road trip. Due to the latch issue, I had to empty, throw away, and clean out the fridge several times. I left my fridge at a proper recycling plant midway through my road journey to prevent wasting food and preserve battery power. I discarded the product after 6 months. This product exemplifies "You get what you pay for." Cheap materials make this product unsuitable for purchase. 2-stars. **EDITED** Seller contacted me a few days after my evaluation. She apologized for the product issue, explained why it was flawed, and offered me a new fridge or a full refund. WOW!! Customer Support reaching out to improve my experience was amazing. Customer service improved my rating. 4-star
