Ice was being made in 7 bhmminutes once all the set up was completed per instructions. Within a 12 hour period, we had 6 one gallon freezer bags full. It's as awesome as I'd hoped! So,easy to use! It hardly takes up any space, we use the filtered water from our refrigerator. The ice is the BEST!!
We got this ice maker about a month ago and fell in love with it immediately. There are several reasons. First, it makes the most wonderful ice. Small little crunchable pieces that are fun to chew, but also keep my ice tea cold for a long time. We do have to use the scooper to move the ice from the area where it drops so the machine will continue to make ice. If you don't it will fill up that area and stop making ice because it thinks the bucket is full. Not a big deal at all since we are constantly scooping the ice for our drinks. Second reason is it appears to be very easy to clean. We are about to do that, but since we haven't yet, not sure it will be as easy as I think, but it seems like we can get to all the areas easily to clean them. It also has a cleaning process that we have used several times that appears to work fine. The third reason we love this machine is it is so small. It fits in a very small area on our counter, not taking up much room at all. The fourth reason we like it is it is beautiful. Stainless steel and black.... just gorgeous.
I am an ICE EATER!! All my ice waters know we like specific ice! I DO NOT eat all ice. I have a very specific type of ice that I like. I know this sounds nuts to some, but also know that it sounds very sane to others 🤣. That being said, I would go to a store (that I won’t name here) and get cups of ice almost daily! And yes, my fridge has an ice maker however, I hate that ice. I kept saying I was going to purchase an ice maker but I was afraid I would pay a pretty penny and it wouldn’t make the ice that I like. Well, my amazing son’s purchase this for my birthday today and I am ECSTATIC!!! It makes the ice that I love to eat! Perfect little cubes. I love the self cleaning and how quickly it produces the ice. It’s also very quiet. This ice maker is EVERYTHING!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.
We needed to invest in an ice maker but did not want to pay so much for nugget ice. This one was perfect. Got a good deal and it fits nicely on the countertop. Start a little loud but once its making ice, it quiets down. Needs a little space due to the heat that comes from the motor. Ice is a little wet and tends to stick so the ice needs to be broken up once in the freezer. I would recommend this ice maker.
